7 Places for The Great North Run snapped up!
Yes the 7 entries to the Great North Run 2011 have been allocated now to our eager fundraisers who are committed to raising over £3,500 for the fund. Team Emma will have been revealed and you can see them on our news page.
Youth Dance Tynedale Walk the Wall
Youth Dance Tynedale will be walking (and we’re sure dancing) 40km of Hadrian's Wall starting on Monday 18th July at Newtown near Carlisle and ending on Wednesday 20th at Brocolitia Roman Fort near Newbrough.

On Friday 15th July, in Humshaugh Village Hall you can attend a brilliant and unique event - The Summertime Swish!
You could help out the organisers by printing and displaying the poster too.
Singing Babies!
On Saturday 30th July, 2011 Louise Khazaee and Alison Say will be holding a mammoth ‘Singing Babies’ session in aid of the Emma Newton Fund
It’s for babies under 1 year old with accompanying adult, Quiet and interested spectators (not really suitable for toddlers and young children)
Venue ~ St.Mary’s Church Hall, Hexham.
Time ~ 11 a.m.
Cost ~ £6.50 per participating baby. £5 per spectator, including refreshments.
They will serve fresh coffee and their legendary ‘singing carrot cake’. CDs will be for sale at £10 each, with all proceeds to Emma’s fund.

Bag pack at Waitrose, Hexham
Waitrose Hexham have very kindly allowed Emma Newton Fund Volunteers to arrange a bag pack between 1pm and 7pm.
Come along, get your Christmas shopping in and have one of smiling, happy volunteers load your bags and even take them to your car.
